The Bheemili Resort - Managed by Accor, located in the beautiful coastal town of Bheemunipatnam, India, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our leadership team. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our luxury resort, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving operational excellence across all departments.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize resort operations and enhance guest satisfaction
- Manage and mentor a diverse team of department heads and staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with Accor brand standards, local regulations, and health and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive revenue and occupancy rates
- Handle guest complaints and resolve complex issues promptly and professionally
- Implement and monitor quality control systems across all resort operations
- Analyze performance metrics and guest feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities and business partners
- Stay informed about industry trends and implement innovative practices to maintain a competitive edge
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in hotel operations management.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and cost control
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office suite
- In-depth knowledge of hotel operations and management practices
- Understanding of the local tourism industry and cultural nuances in Bheemunipatnam and surrounding areas
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Additional certifications in hospitality management are preferred
- Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus
