Assistant Sales Manager 

The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for attracting both new and returning customers to the hotel and ensuring guest satisfaction while achieving sales targets. 

This position involves building relationships with travel agencies and other companies and implementing action plans to secure business. Organizing meetings with clients and leading familiarization tours of the hotel are also key aspects of this role. 

To succeed in this role, you’ll need higher education in tourism or hotel management, relevant experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Windows programs. 

Sales Manager 

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Manager is tasked with achieving sales objectives, managing the sales team, and developing strategic business plans. 

The role includes soliciting group, transient, and banquet business, negotiating prices, and managing sales representatives' performance. 

To excel in this role, you’ll need previous sales experience, proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications, and excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. The ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations is also crucial.

Senior Sales Manager

The Senior Sales Manager role involves winning new business, creating and executing sales strategies, and utilizing Agency 360 reports for market analysis. 

Senior Sales Managers are expected to cross-sell properties to maximize revenue opportunities. 

In this role, you’ll have proven experience in proactive sales and key account management, strong organizational skills, analytical abilities, and strong networking skills. 

Group Sales Manager

The Group Sales Manager focuses on identifying and qualifying leads, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving optimal market share. 

This role requires preparing proposals and presentations for prospective clients, negotiating favorable terms and contracts, and conducting site inspections to ensure seamless execution of group bookings. 

In this role, you’ll need to stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly. Strong interpersonal skills and a track record of meeting sales goals are also important.

Director of Sales

The Director of Sales oversees the overall sales strategy, ensuring optimal occupancy and revenue. Responsibilities include preparing and implementing strategic sales plans and budgets, analyzing monthly reports, and managing all sales activities, including group, transient, and catering/banquet sales. 

You’ll also be responsible for managing and developing team members, ensuring that hiring, training, and performance management align with the business's changing needs. 

This role requires a minimum of five years of sales management experience and a strong understanding of global markets and business acumen.
