Join two of Accor’s distinguished luxury hotels in Germany as Cluster Director of Revenue Management, overseeing Sofitel Munich Bayerpost and Hotel Mondial am Dom Cologne – MGallery Collection.

Housed in Munich’s historic former Royal Bavarian Post Office, Sofitel Munich Bayerpost blends grand neo-classical architecture with contemporary French elegance and over 1,800 m² of exceptional event space.

In Cologne, Hotel Mondial am Dom – MGallery Collection sits steps from the iconic cathedral, celebrated for its boutique charm, intimate atmosphere, and vibrant local spirit.

In this strategic role, you will be responsible for maximising all revenue streams, identifying and leveraging market trends, and driving the commercial success of both properties.
The position is based at Sofitel Munich Bayerpost, with regular travel to Cologne, and reports to the General Managers of each property, with a dotted-line to the Regional Director of Revenue Management.


Job Description

The key responsibilities in the role include:

  • Supports the hotel management efforts in strategic planning, marketing plans, and budgeting processes.
  • Drives the annual topline budget process and tracks performance for rooms division and other revenue streams.
  • Works with Commercial teams to target the right business mix and create effective offers.
  • Prepare materials and chairs for weekly hotel revenue strategy meetings.
  • Monitors transient and group booking pace to determine pricing and yielding controls for all distribution channels.
  • Analyzes competitive set pricing and yield strategies, anticipating market reactions.
  • Produces and analyzes current and historical demand, including lost business turn-down, rooms on the books, competitive set, and market trends for accurate forecasting.
  • Monitors third-party intelligence sources (OTA, GDS, market studies) to identify revenue opportunities and stay updated on industry changes.
  • Assesses key indicators of hotel revenue performance, including digital marketing campaigns.
  • Plans and executes some digital marketing activities at the hotel level.
  • Spreads Revenue Culture: Promotes Revenue Management principles across hotel departments, ensuring alignment with strategies.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in Revenue Management with at least 2 years in Manager/Director level and luxury experience recommended.
  • Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and numerical reasoning.
  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Confident in dealing with a luxury clientele.
  • Expert in Revenue Management Software (ideally IDeaS G3).
  • Proficient in Opera Cloud PMS.
  • Fluent English speaker. German is a plus.
  • Legally eligible to work in Germany.
