Job Description

The Assistant Revenue Manager will take charge of optimizing hotel revenue through strategic pricing, inventory management, and market analysis. This role involves collaborating with various departments to implement revenue management strategies and ensure alignment with the hotel's financial objectives.

  • Pricing Strategy: Assist in developing and executing pricing strategies based on market trends, competitor analysis, and demand forecasting.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor room inventory and availability to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze historical data and market trends to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on revenue performance, occupancy rates, and other key metrics for management review.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, Food & Beverage and front office teams to ensure cohesive revenue management strategies.
  • Forecasting: Assist in preparing revenue forecasts and budgets to ensure accuracy and alignment with business goals.
  • Market Research: Conduct competitive analysis to understand market positioning and recommend adjustments to pricing and inventory strategies.
  • Training: Provide support and training to staff on revenue management practices and tools.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in revenue management, sales, or a related role in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in revenue management systems, and excellent communication abilities.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and advanced Excel skills.
