Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Revenue Manager to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for optimising our revenue strategies and supporting the overall financial performance of our hotel properties.

  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximise room revenues and RevPAR
  • Analyse market trends and demand patterns to create short, medium, and long-term revenue plans
  • Manage daily pricing and inventory across multiple properties
  • Evaluate group enquiries and provide quotations aligned with brand and property strategies
  • Prepare and analyse room revenue forecasts and annual budgets in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Lead Revenue Meetings, identifying risks and opportunities to optimise results
  • Monitor competitive set pricing and market conditions, recommending strategic adjustments as needed
  • Collaborate with General Managers, Sales & Marketing teams to maximise revenue across all hotel departments
  • Prepare and present End of Month performance reports, highlighting key insights and recommendations
  • Stay abreast of local market trends and competition in Kuala Lumpur to inform revenue strategies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a revenue-focused role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Solid understanding of revenue management principles and practices
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational skills
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving revenue targets
  • Knowledge of Opera Cloud and IDeaS RMS (advantageous)
  • Familiarity with local market trends and competition in Kuala Lumpur
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to influence key stakeholders
