Job Description

  • Ensure that MAMA standards are being upheld at all times by the reservations team.
  • Partner with the Sales, Marketing, Rooms and F&B Department Head and leadership team to maximize rooms profitability.
  • Coordinate with the Regional Revenue Management Head to ensuring the MAMA pricing standards are applied.
  • Resolve room selling price in order to maximize the global hotel revenue.
  • Overview of the channel management system and verifies daily that rates and availability are accurate.
  • Conduct the necessary studies/analyses to correct sources of revenue loss
  • Quotes group and event requests
  • Managing the Distribution system (TARS) as well as the PMS and Glitter. accross rate plans, promotional codes, special offers and all other products that needs to be optimized
  • Ensure a regular reporting as required to the Asia Pacific regional team
  • Leads, motivates, and coaches the reservations team on best practices and holds disciplinary conversations as needed.
  • Assist in managing all incoming calls and reservations in line with MAMA standards.
  • Resolve all cancellations and answer any inquiries.
  • Transfer calls and maintain excellent communication and teamwork with fellow MAMA team members.
  • Quotes available rates and partners with Sales/Rooms team to maximize room revenue.
  • Answer phones, emails, handle requests, give recommendations of local restaurants or activities to visit according to their needs and tastes. 
  • Prepares bills, collects payments, and are quick to resolve and billing discrepancies.
  • Answers inquiries regarding hotel area and services.
  • Maintains hotel records.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years’ experience in revenue management, and distribution profession.
  • Proficient in Revenue Management systems, distribution systems, Opera PMS, Outlook, Excel, Work
  • Excellent Telephone and Email Etiquette.
  • Solutions oriented- You’ve never met a problem you can’t solve.
  • Must have the ability to work flexible work hours including evenings and weekends and holidays.
  • You’re a team player- At MAMA we all roll up our sleeves together.
  • Multi-task-Ability to anticipate needs and wants of guests while balancing business needs of the Company.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Passion for hospitality and guest experience.
  • You jump out of bed each morning, fizzing with energy, excited about what you’ll achieve today.
  • We could enjoy a meal together and share a laugh along the way.

 

Mama Would Love It If:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a Revenue Management and Reservation role or similar leadership position.
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • You’re passionate and creative about what you do and how you do it.
  • You’re not easily stressed and perform at your best under pressure.
