Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Revenue Manager to join our team in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and utilizing revenue management methods, processes, and tools to maximize turnover and optimize our hotel's financial performance.

  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize hotel revenue and profitability
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand patterns to make data-driven pricing decisions
  • Forecast occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR) for future periods
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue strategies across departments
  • Manage inventory and pricing across various distribution channels, ensuring rate parity and optimal visibility
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and prepare reports for hotel management
  • Lead weekly revenue management meetings and provide insights to key stakeholders
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of revenue management initiatives and adjust strategies as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in revenue management
  • Train and mentor team members on revenue management principles and techniques
  • Optimize group and corporate pricing strategies to maximize overall revenue
  • Manage and maintain the hotel's presence on online travel agencies (OTAs) and other distribution platforms

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue management or related fields
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) and revenue management software
  • Knowledge of digital distribution channels and online travel agencies (OTAs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in hotel operations, particularly in front office or reservations, is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and implement innovative revenue strategies
