Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with department heads.
- Conduct initial interviews and assessments as needed.
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the hotel.
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Support in resolving employee conflicts and performance issues.
- Help foster a positive work environment and enhance employee morale.
- Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating training programs for staff development.
- Maintain records of training and certifications.
- Help manage the performance appraisal process and follow up on development plans.
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Help in the processing of payroll and ensure accuracy in employee records.
- Address employee questions regarding benefits and compensation.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, hotel policies, and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.
- Assist in preparing reports and audits related to HR activities.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including preparing HR documents, handling correspondence, and managing HR files.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating HR-related events and activities.Ensure that HR practices align with the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction and service excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in HR or a related role, ideally within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software (e.g., HRIS systems).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
