Job Description

We're looking for a dynamic and results driven Sales Manager to join our team in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. In this pivotal role, you will drive revenue growth by managing the complete sales cycle, building strong client relationships, and leading initiatives that exceed organizational targets. You will be instrumental in identifying market opportunities, converting inquiries into confirmed business, and fostering a collaborative environment that supports both team success and customer satisfaction.   • Manage the full sales cycle from initial inquiry through contract negotiation and conversion, ensuring timely and professional responses to all client inquiries
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while maintaining detailed records of sales activities and forecasts
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, and key accounts to encourage repeat business and identify upsell opportunities
  • Prepare comprehensive proposals, contracts, and rate agreements in accordance with organizational policies; negotiate terms to maximize profitability while meeting client needs
  • Conduct site inspections and client meetings to showcase facilities, services, and capabilities; provide customized solutions tailored to client requirements
  • Analyze market trends, monitor competitor activities, and identify emerging business opportunities to maintain competitive advantage in the Johor Bahru market
  • Collaborate with internal departments including operations, finance, and customer service to ensure seamless execution of sales agreements and client satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all client interactions, contracts, and agreements in CRM systems; ensure all records are current and accessible
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, revenue forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management; provide actionable insights based on data analysis
  • Mentor and support team members in developing sales skills, achieving individual targets, and maintaining high standards of customer service
  • Proactively identify and resolve client concerns with empathy and transparency, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and professionally
  • Participate in networking events, industry conferences, and promotional activities to expand the client base and strengthen market presence

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in sales, business development, account management, or related field
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with demonstrated ability to convert inquiries into confirmed business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to analyze sales data, prepare reports, and make data-driven decisions
  • Customer-focused mindset with commitment to delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships
  • Resilient and adaptable with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Experience in hospitality, events management, or corporate services industry
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership or mentoring roles
  • Knowledge of the Malaysian market and regional business practices
  • Experience with sales forecasting and revenue management
  • Certification in sales management or professional selling
  • Multilingual capabilities (English and Bahasa Malaysia preferred)
  • Experience with advanced CRM platforms and sales analytics tools
  • Track record of developing new business segments or entering new markets
