Company Description

Novotel Melbourne Glen Waverley is a successful 4.5 star hotel comprising 200 guest rooms, restaurant/bar & conference facilities, situated in a bustling business district and at the gateway of the Dandenong Ranges.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Revenue Manager to come join our team for a 12 month Maternity Leave cover. You will work closely with the General Manager and other key stakeholders within the business to maximise yield for the hotel through focused revenue management practices and strategies.


Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • You are responsible for implementing strategies to maximize the revenue of the hotel with a capacity of 200 rooms.
  • Conduct ongoing competitor price and product analyses to ensure proper rate positioning and product offering relative to competition
  • Complete various reports and analyse the data and recommend solutions to improve revenue
  • In conjunction with the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for managing the Reservations Team.
  • Assess, manage and analyse pricing strategies and Identify new revenue opportunities
  • You provide the forecasts about the budget and you follow the preparation of annual budget revenues.

Qualifications

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • Strong analytical skills and proactive strategic focus
  • Drive to achieve and surpass targets at every opportunity
  • Highly organised and able to manage priorities
  • Minimum 1 year in a similar role preferably in the Melbourne market
  • Experience with Opera Cloud, EzRMS and ResaWeb an advantage
