Job Description

The Pullman Melbourne on the Park is currently looking for Porters in a Part Time capacity to join our team.

Our porters are both the first and last person our guests encounter, and you will play an integral role in ensuring every guest receives the warmest of welcomes, and leaves feeling valued.

  • Welcome and farewell our guests in a genuine manner, and attend to their needs throughout their stay
  • Assist with handling of luggage, delivering to rooms, and storing as required.
  • Arrange transportation and tours for guests, providing accurate directions and sharing your knowledge of the local area.
  • Assisting guests with luggage requirements and parking cars.
  • Keep up to date information for all hotel services, promotions, outlet opening times and ensure you are familiar with local events.
  • Ensure fast, effective and friendly service is provided to internal and external guests at all times.

Qualifications

You will have a can-do attitude with a passion for guest service.

Additionally you will require:

  • A valid driver's license with ability to drive automatic and manual vehicles.
  • Available to work a variety of shifts across a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
