Painter and Decorator

At Ibis London Greenwich we are looking for a part-time Painter and Decorator with basic skills in generic maintenance of the buildings. The main aim for this role is to focus on painting hotel bedrooms and carry on maintenance tasks such as PPMs, grouting, room repairs. 

• Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
• Supervise tradesmen during installations, repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers etc.)
• Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.)
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
• Participate in coordination of projects (e.g. renovations)
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
• would need to do painting, decorating
• ensuring rooms out of service are followed up, issues fixed and rooms brought back to operations

• Experience as maintenance team member or similar role
• Technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.)
• Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulation
• Excellent planning and problem solving skills
• An eye for detail
