Plant supervisor is under the general direction of the Chief Engineer  and his delegate, and within the limits of established IHC and local Hotel policies and procedures, is responsible for the effective operation of the plant room.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Checks log readings and assure proper operation of equipment and machinery in the hotel on a continuous basis.
▪
Records and handles maintenance orders of different trades and supervise for the proper completion of jobs.
▪
Carries out Energy conservation and control in order to reduce energy costs in the hotel.
▪
Carries out plant preventive and routine maintenance.
▪
Maintains proper conditions of all equipment rooms.
▪
Maintains log records of all-important information pertaining to operation of plant and engineering personnel on his assigned duty.
▪
Assists his direct manager to train Engineering staff for the efficient operation of equipment and machinery.
▪
Demonstrates understanding and awareness of all company Policies and procedures relating to health hygiene and Fire life safety.
▪
Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.

Education:
Technical degree in electronics or equivalent
Skills:
Ability to follow precise instructions
Physically fit and good eyesight
Good hand-eye coordination
Experience:
Minimum two years of experience
