Novotel Sydney Darling Square is seeking a Marketing Executive to serve as our storyteller and brand ambassador. This role is perfect for a tech-savvy, creative, collaborative individual who is passionate about marketing, website design and eager to contribute to the creation and execution of our strategies.    

THE VENUES

Novotel Sydney Darling Square is centrally located in the heart of Darling Harbour. The contemporary hotel offers a range of services and facilities. The hotel is the ideal venue for small to medium sized functions, meetings and conferences for up to 120 guests. With six dedicated conference and meeting rooms, each room offers an abundance of natural light.

The iconic Pumphouse Bar & Restaurant is an outstanding venue, featuring a sophisticated space boasts an industrial design and premium finishes. Its elevated menu and multiple event areas make it the ultimate place to be.

Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, we are seeking a passionate self-starter who thrives on producing excellent digital content while making a significant impact on our brand through strategic marketing tactics.

  • You will create and curate engaging, impactful content across our platforms.
  • Using your expertise, you will play a crucial role in driving both organic and paid campaigns, enhancing our social media presence, and broadening our online reach.
  • Additionally, you'll offer guidance on digital marketing strategies, SEO, social media marketing, and relevant analytics.
  • Your design and communication skills will also be put to work in crafting persuasive monthly e-newsletters and internal materials that support all departments.
  • Your strategic approach will be essential for managing and growing the hotel’s database, ensuring its continued success while providing monthly performance reports.
  • You will also collaborate with the Director of Sales & Marketing in managing Public Relations, with a special focus on bringing your creative ideas to life.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate a passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools, along with knowledge across all marketing areas. You will have a strong knowledge of UX and website design as well as a strong analytical skills. Bachelor in UX & Website Design required.

You will ideally have knowledge of Adobe Suites, Canva, CapCut, HTML and other social media applications. The ability to understand historical, current and future trends in the digital content and social media space. Your strong copywriting and copy-editing skills are a must and you will pride yourself on your excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join and become an integral member of the Sales & Marketing Team.
