With 517 refurbished rooms, 10 conference rooms, and multiple food and beverage outlets, the Front Office Team is on the lookout for Full Time Front Office All Rounder (Part Time considered for the right candidate)


Job Description

Mercure Sydney is on the lookout for a Full-Time Front Office All-Rounder to become part of our energetic and welcoming team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing outstanding, personalised, and engaging service to make every guest feel at home.
  • Managing guest check-ins and check-outs and maintaining accounts through our PMS, Opera.
  • Responding to guest enquiries with a positive and solution-focused approach.
  • Collaborating daily with departments like food & beverage and housekeeping to coordinate guest needs, requests, and experiences
  • Ensure collection and delivery of guest luggage
  • Respond to guest requests and queries
  • Provide a knowledgeable, efficient and helpful information service.
  • Ensuring workstations and hotel lobby remain clean and presentable

Qualifications

  • Experience working in Front Office advantageous
  • A warm and friendly demeanor and able to make genuine connections with our guests
  • Be able to multi-task and effectively communicate with guests
  • Have attention to details and ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Have excellent grooming and pride in presenting yourself well
  • Be available to work varied shifts from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends
