At Accor we are currently looking for a F&B Supervisor for the new Accor opening in Ponta Delgada (Azores Islands, Portugal), the Mercure Açores Ponta Delgada.

About the position:

If you are passionate about guests’ interaction, food and beverage? As F&B Supervisor, you are expected to uplift the F&B experience for guests. We are looking for someone who will have the patience, personality, and perseverance to thrive in this role. If you can perform well in fast-paced environments, we’d like to meet you.

Some of your responsibilities are:

• Coordinating daily F&B management operations
• Overlooks all restaurant operations.
• Delivering superior food and beverage service and maximizing customer satisfaction
• Responding efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
• Scheduling all F&B team members
• Supervising Events
• Coordinating with kitchen
• Training on health and safety lead by example
• Daily briefings updates and upselling techniques
• Cost control, inventory, training and maintaining SOP for quality.
• Introduce innovative ideas to generate revenue for the restaurant.
• Addressing guest requirement and able to create a “magnifique” experience.

About you:

• College diploma in Hotel Management or related field
• Previous experience in Food & Beverage/Restaurant operation
• Fluent in Portuguese & English
• Passion for leadership and teamwork
• Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence
• Excellent guest service skills
