Director of Talent & Culture H/F/X

We are looking for an inspiring and dynamic Director of Talent & Culture to lead our Talent & Culture strategy and foster a positive and engaging work environment.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping the employee experience, driving talent development, and ensuring compliance with best practices and local labor laws. Summary of the Responsabilities :
Reporting to the General Manager, the essential duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Talent & Culture department and play a key role in the implementation of the hotel’s Talent & Culture strategy.
- Assess organizational needs, develop cohesive talent management solutions, and implement strategies across employee relations, compensation and benefits, recognition, administration, and employee well-being.
- Promote positive employee relations within an environment that encourages open communication, trust, and mutual respect.
- Assist Department Heads, Senior Management, and Supervisors in developing specific action plans to address issues and concerns raised in employee feedback and satisfaction surveys.
- Efficiently manage the annual Talent & Culture departmental budget.
- Implement recruitment, performance evaluation, and training systems.
- Balance operational, administrative, and employee needs.
- Ensure compliance with Accor and Fairmont group policies and procedures.
- Oversee audit processes, employee surveys, and the implementation of related action plans.
- Conduct performance evaluations for members of the Talent & Culture team.
- Prepare and analyze statistical reports and Talent & Culture data.
- Act as the guardian of labor laws and the company's cultural values.
- Comply with departmental policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to all safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in Talent & Culture (Human Resources), with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Fluency in English; verbal & written.
- Knowledge of Portuguese is a real asset; additional languages are an asset.

- Excellent knowledge of labor laws and their practical application.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.
