Job Description

To work in close partnership with individual hotel teams and regional revenue management leadership to support the achievement of country-specific strategic goals. This role is central to project execution, talent development within revenue teams at the country level, and ensuring that revenue generation strategies are effectively implemented in each hotel. Engaging with diverse hotel teams across the country, requiring strong adaptability and interpersonal skills. Balancing hands-on project execution with talent development. Implementing and managing revenue management systems tailored to each hotel's needs.

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute high-level revenue management strategies that align with Continent commercial objectives, driving significant revenue growth and market leadership.
  • Project Leadership: Spearhead major revenue-focused initiatives, demonstrating innovative approaches to market challenges and setting benchmarks for operational excellence.
  • Advanced Talent Development: Lead talent development initiatives at a national level, identifying and nurturing future leaders within the revenue management discipline.
  • Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with top-level stakeholders including hotel owners, senior corporate management, and regional directors to align revenue strategies and corporate goals.
  • Complex Problem Solving: Address complex revenue challenges with strategic foresight and advanced analytical approaches, guiding the revenue management team in deploying effective solutions.
  • Analytical Leadership: Oversee in-depth analyses of revenue performance across the country, interpreting complex data to craft strategies that significantly improve financial outcomes.
  • Visionary Leadership in Learning: Champion the professional growth and development of the revenue management team, instilling a visionary approach to continuous learning and skill enhancement.
  • Strategic Communications: Act as a senior communication conduit between corporate leadership and hotel operations, ensuring that strategic objectives are both understood and achieved.
  • Technological Advancement: Direct the strategic adoption of advanced revenue management systems and tools, ensuring technological leverage at a national scale.
  • Rate Parity Mastery: Masterfully manage rate parity and distribution strategy, overseeing significant improvements in market share and revenue consistency.
  • Market Share Strategy: Lead strategic discussions and implementations focused on enhancing market share, positioning the brand as a dominant player in the competitive landscape.

Qualifications

  • 10 years’ experience in the hotel industry with a sound understanding of Hotel operations, sales, marketing and distribution ecosystem.
  • Business Management, Tourism or Hotel Management Preferred but not essential
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint.
  • Advanced Proficiency in English (Written and Spoken). Additionally French is beneficial
  • Demonstrated ability in project management, strategy implementation, and team development.
  • Proficient in strategic planning and project execution.
