Job Description

There is no room for the ordinary in anything we do. As the Revenue Analyst, you will be a key player in the Revenue Management Committee.  Your active role in the in the hotel's strategic decision-making process along with your analysis and recommendations will act as the cornerstones in the decision-making process. Your direct engagement with the hotel’s senior leadership team will pave the way to a strong career path for you to progress in the Revenue Management world. 

Hourly Rate:  $30.59

What you will be doing:

ANALYTICS:  REPORTING

Accurate & Timely Reporting:

  • Generate precise Revenue Management reports.
  • Support team and senior leadership with ad-hoc reports.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Present 14-day rooms forecast.
  • Assist in 30, 60, and 90-day revenue forecasts.
  • Contribute to Food & Beverage and Spa reporting.

Tool Ownership:

  • Manage external tools (OTA Insights, D360/A360, STR).
  • Ensure data accuracy and enhance tool automation.

STRATEGY:  IMPLEMENTATION

OTA Management:

  • Oversee OTA extranets for rate and inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain rate parity across platforms.

Content Audit:

  • Monthly audit of hotel content on distribution channels.

Rate and Promotion Handling:

  • Load rates, promotions, and packages for proper distribution.

Documentation and Meetings:

  • Maintain Hotel Rate Binder and package allocation template.
  • Participate in weekly Revenue Maximization Meetings.

Strategic Proposals:

  • Provide proposals for long and short-term hotel strategies.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capable of effective communication across various organizational levels.
  • Service-oriented mindset for effective communication with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Understanding of Revenue Management principles, utilizing disciplined analytics to predict consumer behavior and optimize product availability and pricing for revenue growth.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in utilizing various analytical tools for data-driven decision-making.
  • Highly developed computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office365 applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational abilities, capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and seek clarification when needed for efficient assignment completion.
  • Proficient in CRS and PMS systems, with a preference for Opera.
  • Experience in utilizing external data sources such as OTA Insights, D360/A360, and STR for reporting, analytics, and strategic decision-making
  • Dynamic, can-do attitude with proven interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Maintains a professional working environment and fosters a positive, supportive, team-based approach to achieve short and long-term organizational goals.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or Business Management preferred

Experience

  • Minimum two years of Reservations Management experience
  • Minimum two years of Revenue Analytics/Strategy (or equivalent) experience
  • Experience with Opera (PMS and S&C) and Passkey GroupMax is highly preferred
  • Hospitality industry experience is highly preferred
