Job Description

We invite you to join our dynamic culinary team in Fairmont Jaipur as a Demi Chef de Partie. In this role, you will support our experienced chefs in delivering exceptional cuisine while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and kitchen excellence. You will work collaboratively within a fast-paced kitchen environment, contributing to smooth operations and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your culinary skills, expand your technical knowledge, and grow within a professional hospitality organization.

  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
  • Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations and service requirements
  • Prepare ingredients, sauces, garnishes, and mise en place for service efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and portion control standards are maintained at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards and procedures with meticulous attention
  • Assist in monitoring stock levels and actively work to minimize food wastage
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of all food products according to established protocols
  • Support the team during busy service periods while maintaining focus on detail and operational efficiency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and cooking methods relevant to our menu
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations and exceptional guest dining experiences
  • Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance culinary skills and operational knowledge
  • Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude in all interactions with colleagues and leadership
  • Adapt quickly to menu changes and special requests while maintaining quality standards
