Job Description

Front Office Operations

  • Assist guests with check-in, check-out, cashiering, and room key issuance.
  • Prepare guest arrivals by reviewing arrival lists, updating systems, and arranging welcome amenities for VIPs and repeat guests.
  • Deliver excellent guest service by recognizing members, repeat guests, and VIPs while ensuring their needs are met.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate guest records, including repeat guest history and reservations.
  • Promote hotel facilities, food & beverage outlets, and inter-hotel services to maximize revenue.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, phone calls, mail, and messages professionally and courteously.
  • Ensure guest privacy and confidentiality, monitor credit matters, and report suspicious activities to Security or the Duty Manager.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel services, facilities, and emergency procedures, and attend required briefings and training sessions.
  • Uphold professional standards by reporting to work on time in proper uniform, maintaining excellent grooming and hygiene, and performing other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

  • Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage

  • Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team
  • Self-motivated and energetic
  • Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
