Job Description
To provide safe, efficient, and courteous transportation services for guests, Heartists, and hotel operations using the resort buggy, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, service, and vehicle cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the resort buggy safely and responsibly in accordance with hotel procedures and traffic regulations.
- Transport guests, Heartists, luggage, and operational items to designated areas within the resort.
- Provide warm, courteous, and professional service to guests at all times.
- Assist guests with boarding and alighting from the buggy when required.
- Conduct basic daily checks of the buggy, including battery/fuel, brakes, tires, lights, and overall condition.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the buggy at all times.
- Report any vehicle damage, technical issues, or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Follow assigned schedules, routes, and transportation requests efficiently.
- Assist other departments with transportation-related operational needs when required.
- Observe all resort safety, security, and environmental procedures.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance in accordance with hotel grooming standards.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum education: Senior High School / Vocational School or equivalent.
- Valid A driving licence (SIM A).
- Previous experience as a driver, buggy driver, hotel driver, or similar position is preferred.
- Good knowledge of basic vehicle operation and safety procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-service oriented with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Reliable, punctual, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Well-groomed and professional in appearance.
- Basic English communication skills are an advantage.
