We invite you to join our dynamic culinary team in Gaafu Alifu Atoll, Maldives as a Chef de Partie. In this leadership role, you will oversee a specialized kitchen section, driving culinary excellence while mentoring junior staff and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and kitchen operations. You will work collaboratively with our executive culinary team in a fast-paced, innovative environment, contributing to exceptional dining experiences for our guests. - Lead and manage a specialized kitchen section or station, ensuring consistent execution of recipes and presentation standards
- Mentor, train, and supervise junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes with precision while maintaining the highest quality and consistency standards
- Oversee mise en place preparation and ensure all ingredients, sauces, and garnishes are prepared efficiently and accurately
- Maintain rigorous food quality, portion control, and plating standards throughout all service periods
- Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and actively work to minimize food wastage within your section
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of all food products according to established protocols and food safety standards
- Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to develop innovative menu items and seasonal specials
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, cooking methods, and food costing relevant to your station
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards with meticulous attention and lead by example
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods while maintaining focus on detail, efficiency, and quality
- Analyze kitchen operations and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper maintenance of workstations, equipment, and storage areas
- Adapt quickly to menu changes and special requests while maintaining quality standards and guest satisfaction
- Demonstrate professionalism, assertiveness, and a positive attitude in all interactions with colleagues, leadership, and guests
- Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance culinary skills and operational knowledge

**Required Experience:**
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar Chef de Partie role within a hospitality kitchen environment
- Demonstrated experience working in fast-paced kitchen operations
- Proven experience with food preparation and cooking in a professional setting
- Experience leading and training junior kitchen staff
- Experience managing a specialized kitchen section or station
- Experience in a resort or luxury hospitality setting (preferred)
**Education & Certifications:**
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field (preferred)
- Food safety and hygiene certification (preferred)
- Advanced culinary certifications or specialized training (preferred)
**Domain Expertise:**
- Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and cooking methods
- Understanding of ingredient properties and applications
- Expertise in a specific culinary section or station
