As a Chef de Cuisine at DELANO Dubai, you are responsible for leading a culinary brigade to deliver an elevated, refined yet relaxed dining experience. You will drive menu execution, uphold the highest quality standards, and ensure every dish reflects DELANO’s signature lifestyle luxury, creativity, and consistency in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Culinary Leadership & Vision: Lead the kitchen with creativity and precision, ensuring the culinary direction reflects DELANO’s luxury lifestyle concept and brand identity
- Menu Development & Innovation: Design and evolve menus with a focus on seasonality, quality ingredients, and modern presentation that elevates the guest dining experience
- Quality & Consistency: Maintain exceptional standards across all dishes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning at all times
- Kitchen Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service flow, efficiency, and strong coordination across all sections
- Team Leadership & Development: Inspire, train, and develop the kitchen team, fostering a high-performance culture built on collaboration, discipline, and pride in craft
- Cost Control & Efficiency: Manage food costs, wastage, and inventory effectively while maintaining quality and supporting profitability targets
- Food Safety & Hygiene Standards: Ensure full compliance with HACCP, hygiene, and safety regulations, maintaining a clean, organised, and audit-ready kitchen
- Collaboration with Front of House: Work closely with service teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery of an exceptional guest experience
- Guest-Centric Approach: Continuously align culinary output with guest expectations, feedback, and evolving luxury dining trends
- Standards & Operational Excellence: Support the implementation and continuous improvement of kitchen SOPs and brand standards to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality delivery.
- Luxury Culinary Background: You have a strong track record as a Chef de Cuisine or Senior Sous Chef within luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, or lifestyle-led hospitality environments, delivering consistently high culinary standards.
- Culinary Excellence: You demonstrate exceptional culinary craft with a deep understanding of modern, seasonal, and elevated cuisine, ensuring every dish reflects quality, creativity, and consistency.
- Kitchen Leadership: You lead by example, managing and inspiring kitchen teams with clarity, discipline, and approachability, ensuring high performance and strong team engagement.
- Operational Strength: You are highly skilled in day-to-day kitchen operations, including hygiene standards, HACCP compliance, stock control, and maintaining seamless service execution.
- Quality & Consistency: You ensure every dish leaving the kitchen meets exacting brand standards in presentation, taste, and timing across all service periods.
- Cost & Efficiency Management: You understand food cost control, waste reduction, and effective use of ingredients while maintaining premium quality and guest satisfaction.
- Guest-Centric Approach: You are attuned to luxury guest expectations, ensuring culinary delivery enhances the overall dining experience in a refined yet relaxed setting.
- Collaboration: You work closely with front-of-house and wider culinary teams to ensure smooth communication and an aligned service flow.
- Educational Background: A formal culinary qualification or international culinary training is preferred, with strong technical foundations.
