Job Description
AC Technician
As a Carpenter, you will perform a variety of carpentry maintenance tasks to install, repair, and maintain the property's wooden structures, furniture, fittings, and fixtures. You will play a key role in ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, functionality, and appearance.
What you will be doing:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on furniture, doors, windows, cabinets, fixtures, and other wooden structures.
- Repair and replace damaged woodwork, fittings, and furnishings.
- Install, assemble, and modify carpentry items as required.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance needs.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with hotel standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Support other engineering team members when required.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest concerns.
- Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Should have proven track record in similar job role for at least 2 years for 5 Star Resort in UAE
- Resort experience is preferred.
- Should have technical education background and related diplomas
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work in a busy work schedule.
- Should be a team player
