Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Carry out preventive maintenance and repair works in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
Respond promptly to guests’ maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
Assist in routine inspections of equipment, machinery, and hotel facilities.
Support senior technicians/engineers in major repair projects.
Perform basic troubleshooting for electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and mechanical systems.
Ensure tools and equipment are properly handled and stored.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the engineering workshop and work areas.
Follow hotel safety and security policies, including proper handling of hazardous materials.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
Assist in energy-saving initiatives and proper usage of utilities.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer or Supervisor.
Qualifications
High school or technical/vocational school graduate in engineering or related field.
Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
Previous hotel or facility maintenance experience is an advantage.
Ability to work under supervision and follow instructions.
Good communication skills and guest-oriented attitude.
Physically fit to perform manual tasks and handle tools/equipment.
Willing to work shifts, weekends, and on-call duty.
