Job Description

Hyde Melbourne Place is on the lookout for a passionate  Business Development Executive whom will be the driving force behind our growth, reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing. With a passion for people and a sharp eye for opportunity, you’ll help shape the future of our venue by building strong client connections and bringing bold ideas to life.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for Hyde Melbourne Place through market research, networking, and outreach.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to foster repeat business and brand loyalty.
  • Explore untapped markets and identify opportunities for business expansion.
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to implement sales strategies.
  • Assist in creating and presenting proposals for Pumphouse’s services.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated sales experience in a hotel or venue environment.

  • Proven experience in sales, ideally within the hotel or venue industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A natural leader with a passion for seeking out new business opportunities.
  • Enthusiastic about building relationships and creating exceptional guest experiences.
  • Highly motivated to meet and exceed sales targets and business goals.
  • A self-driven team player capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
