Job Description

 

  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize hotel occupancy rates, average daily rates (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR)
  • Manage room inventory, pricing strategies, and rate positioning across all distribution channels in coordination with the sales and marketing teams
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand forecasting to inform strategic pricing decisions and revenue optimization initiatives
  • Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and actionable insights
  • Oversee the coordination between front office, reservations, and sales departments to ensure seamless revenue operations and guest satisfaction
  • Monitor and optimize group bookings, corporate rates, and special packages to maximize revenue while maintaining brand standards
  • Assist in the development and execution of annual budgets and financial forecasts for the revenue department
  • Train and mentor revenue team members on best practices, systems, and procedures to ensure consistent performance and professional development
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, revenue management systems, and hospitality industry standards
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and department heads to identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational efficiency improvements

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in revenue management, hotel operations, or hospitality management
  • Proven expertise in revenue management systems (RMS) and property management systems (PMS)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis
  • Demonstrated experience with hotel distribution channels and online travel agencies (OTAs)
  • Excellent analytical and financial forecasting skills with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Strong understanding of hospitality industry standards, pricing strategies, and market dynamics
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey insights to senior management
