Job Summary/Purpose:

Assistant Butlers provide guests with a full set of in-room minibar items and tea/coffee set and replenishment on a consistent basis throughout their stay.

Key Areas:

1. Knowledge

• To have thorough knowledge of Private Bar SOP’s for Butler Service department
• To have accurate knowledge of different room categories, private bar items and reading Opera PMS reports
• To have thorough knowledge of local rules and regulations
• To have basic knowledge of PMS reports for daily task functions and online platforms used for task delegation
• To adhere to Butler’s standards and procedures and enforce the same

3. Operations

• Filling and refreshing private bar items and tea-coffee setup
• Recording the minibar consumptions of guest rooms to hand over to butler office for daily postings
• Keeping track of all due out and stay over DND rooms
• Cleaning, maintaining and ensuring the upkeep of guest minibars and butler minibar storerooms and reporting any maintenance faults /
• Checking the expiry dates of products regularly for optimum usage of resources.
• Ensuring all unattended valuables and inside guest rooms are noted and Butler Administration Officer İS informed about the same.
• Regularly attending department line-ups and meetings to communicate any pertinent information and to assist in any needed activity.
• Attend training sessions and perform related duties as required.
