Grand Mercure is known for its passion for food and wine. Dining is always a culinary experience with ‘The Verandah’, our Global Cuisine restaurant and ‘By The Blue’, our poolside RestoBar which offers inspired Indian cuisine.
We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven AM - Sales to join our growing team in Bangalore, India. As a key member of our sales leadership, you will drive revenue growth, lead a high-performing sales team, and develop strategic relationships with clients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while fostering a collaborative and innovative sales environment that prioritizes customer success and organizational growth.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets while fostering a supportive and inclusive team culture
- Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to expand the customer base, increase market share, and identify new business opportunities
- Establish and maintain strong, transparent relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and make data-driven strategic decisions
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive coaching, and support professional development for team members
- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients, showcasing our value proposition with clarity and enthusiasm
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure seamless client experiences and retention
- Prepare comprehensive sales reports and present insights to senior management with transparency and analytical rigor
- Monitor and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations and profitability
- Stay informed about industry trends, regional market dynamics, and competitive landscape to maintain a strategic advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a sales management
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire team members
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively
- Proficiency in sales strategy development, performance analysis, and financial acumen
- Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Demonstrated expertise in client relationship management and account management
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage
- In-depth understanding of Indian business culture, practices, and regional market dynamics
- Knowledge of cross-cultural communication and ability to work effectively in diverse, multicultural environments
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
