We are looking for a passionate Wait Staff to join our Food & Beverage Restaurant team. In this guest-facing role, you will deliver exceptional in-room dining experiences, ensuring every meal is presented with care, served with professionalism, and reflects the luxury standards of Sofitel. From preparing orders to providing warm, personalised service, you will play an important role in creating memorable stays for our guests.
Job Description
Delta Rue Restaurant is seeking a professional and service-oriented Food & Beverage Attendant to join our hospitality team.
This position is ideal for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the high standards expected within a premium hotel dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional, attentive and efficient food and beverage service to all guests
- Take and process food and beverage orders accurately
- Ensure timely delivery and presentation of food and beverages
- Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming restaurant environment
- Assist with table preparation, clearing and resetting
- Respond to guest enquiries and requests in a courteous and professional manner
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and wider hotel team to ensure smooth service operations
- Follow hotel policies, food safety standards, workplace health and safety requirements, and responsible service of alcohol regulations
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Have a valid RSA or be willing to obtain one
- Previous experience in a high-volume hotel or premium restaurant environment is highly desirable.
- Thoughtful, accurate, and quick on your feet without sacrificing quality.
- Positive, personable, and adaptable under pressure.
- Always ready to jump in and support your team members.
- Available to work a rotating schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
