Job Description

We are looking for a Technology Manager to join us. The Ennismore tech team is expanding, and we need a super-tech to join us in a role that is similar to that of an IT Manager with a hospitality focus.

You’d be essential in running the Operations and Projects for our hotels.

This is an influential role in our Tech team and we’re looking for an experienced individual who relishes the opportunity to make real change to all end users across all our hotels whilst keeping us secure and thinking about best practise.

What you’ll do…

The above will be your core purpose, but here’s a bit more detail on how we see the role:

  • Take part in managing complex IT projects through to completion – think Infrastructure upgrades, WiFi Upgrades, Systems Implementations, Hotel Openings….
  • Working closely with the teams on site, you’ll support the IT infrastructure, services and support contracts across our hotels, making sure that all Systems are well maintained (Administration/Patching/Upgrades) and IT issues are solved quickly either by us or a third party
  • Lead the technology elements for our Hotel/Bar/Restaurant openings
  • Think creatively about new technologies & trends that we should be bringing in
  • Manage complex network environment with multiple points of interconnectivity and WAN links, making sure that we are GDPR & PCI compliant
  • Work with platforms such as Microsoft inTune MDM to manage multiple endpoints.

 

What we’re looking for…

  • Previous experience in IT Projects across multiple sites/projects focus on hospitality.
  • Previous experience in IT Management & Operations across multiple sites
  • Network experience – Routing, Switching, Firewalls, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs etc.
  • Experience with a wide spectrum of IT kit from phone systems to firewalls and beyond
  • Enthusiastic about Tech and developments in the IT world
  • Keen to take ownership of and pride in your work, a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to seeing work through and delivering results
  • Highly organised and detail orientated, someone you can rely on to know the answers, or where to find them
  • Enthusiastic, confident and warm, you want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun with it along the way
  • Willing to travel. Expenses paid of course!
  • Qualified IT professional certifications: MCPs, PMPs, PRINCE2, Vendor Specific Certs.
