General Responsibilities:
- To report to work within the requested time, prior to the commencement of duty, well groomed and dressed to the uniform standard.
- To demonstrate pride in the workplace with a high level of commitment.
- To treat all guests and colleagues in a polite and courteous manner at all times. To give your full cooperation to all guests, and assist in a prompt, caring and helpful manner.
- To anticipate employee’s needs wherever possible and react to these to enhance employee satisfaction.
- To promote a helpful and professional image to the internal and external guest.
- To ascertain a high degree of employee’s satisfaction
- To be aware of the hotel management, their office location, role and availability.
- To comply with the hotels legal requirements for fire, bomb threats and Health & Safety.
- To attend all training sessions as required.
- To keep your work areas clean and tidy at all times.
- To maintain professional confidentiality and never disclose any confidential pertaining to the Company.
- To carry out any reasonable duties as requested by a senior manager.
- To ensure that the “Welcome Charter” and “Product Standards” are followed as trained.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Keep a track of all good application and make it available for the Department Heads when required
- To operate an efficient and accurate administration process in order to meet statutory, legal and internal requirements
- To prepare and distribute employee hand book upon arrival of new employee
- To do Mini Induction for new employee- (Pre-employment paper works to be completed and taken for a Tour Around the Resort)
- To arrange employee’s Identity card upon completion of Visa formalities
- To arrange Name Tags for employee’s and Trainee
- To maintain Employees housing and Human Resources Department Time Sheets
- To assist the Payroll Officer in updating the Time Sheet
- To assist employees in opening their Bank Account and resolving situations related to Bank
- To assist newly joined employees in obtaining uniforms
- To meet Human Resources Manager on a weekly basis and to submit Recruitment Activity Report.
- To ensure effective communication internally and externally
- To assist the employee house supervisor and Hotel Nurse in carrying out all administrative duties for the smooth functioning of the department.
- Maintain the Leavers Files
- To procure enough stationeries for the Department
- To update all training record in the Training Software
- To maintain all staff training record file
- To schedule staff training and circulate to the departments
- To maintain a copy of Food Hygiene Certificates and training record for possible inspection by Dubai Municipality
- To maintain a copy of Fire Training records in Safe Box
- To assist the Training Manager in preparing training material
- To prepare Training Report on a monthly basis
- To assist the Training Manager in updating the Training Notice Board
- Update all records of training and other relevant communication.
- Coordinate with departments to maintain records of training.
- Assist in making training presentations, handouts and other literature material required.
- Distribute information such as memos to all staff.
- Attend meetings and draft minutes of meeting to be circulated.
- Coordinate with training companies to host training sessions.
- Prepare training materials for the relevant training sessions in advance, at the guidance of Learning & Development Manager.
