Reporting to the Director of Talent and Culture, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead and oversee the day to day operation of the Talent & Culture Department on occasion as well as play a critical role in assisting in the implementation of the Talent & Culture strategy
- Provide training and support to all colleagues and leaders
- Use a variety of methods to promote Fairmont Grand Del Mar’s standards including but not limited to updating bulletin boards, daily pre-shifts, Back 9 slides and training materials as needed
- Ability to facilitate and participate in all facets of recruitment. Including but not limited to maintaining and creating strategic recruitment plans and staffing guides, networking, posting, screening and interviewing candidates.
- Ability to facilitate training events
- The ability to guide monthly completion of I-9 audits, Food Handler’s Audit, Spa License Audits
- The ability to guide the completion of benefit enrollment/termination forms for all insurance carriers.
- Maintain the HRB System including input, output and report processing. Cross-train the HR admin asst.
- Conducting surveys, interviews, and consultations with managers and employees to identify training needs.
- Analyzing job functions and performance data to determine skill gaps and training requirements.
- Facilitate all Company training programs and ensure standards are followed
- Ensure all training material is up to date, coordinate all training seminars
- Other duties as assigned
- 2-5 years of Talent & Culture experience preferred
- Prior Hospitality experience is a plus
- Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications
- University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local law.
