Company Description

Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair Hotel is a 620-room-and-suite upper upscale property. Catering for both business and leisure clientele. The hotel is located in Deira in the heart of Dubai and within easy reach of major tourist landmarks, leisure destinations and city services. It is linked to the Al Ghurair Shopping Centre, only 3 stops away on the Dubai Metro from the Dubai World Trade Centre and a 10 minute drive from Dubai International Airport.


Job Description

As a Talent & Culture Coordinator, you will coordinate and support various HR functions including talent acquisition, employee engagement, training and development.

What you will be doing: 

  • Coordinate the recruitment process according to established standards to ensure timely filling of vacancies with the most suitable candidates.
  • Facilitate candidate arrivals, ensuring seamless integration into the team and the hotel's culture.
  • Organize and execute employee engagement initiatives, including colleague outings, recognition programs, corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, and wellness events.
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote employee morale through engaging activities.
  • Support Heartists Orientation for new joiners, ensuring they are well-versed in company policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain employee files to ensure efficiency and compliance with HR standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate with departing employees to complete exit clearance procedures.
  • Assist in updating the HR Management System (HRMS) with relevant employee information.
  • Support in preparing various reports and presentations as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in HR, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Well versed in HRMS and MS Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

Visa requirements:

Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Dubai. Swissotel Al Ghurair & Swissotel Living Al Ghurair will cover visa costs and flights for selected candidates from place of origin.
