El Supervisor de Bar será responsable de coordinar la operación diaria del bar, asegurando un servicio auténtico, ágil y alineado con la energía, estilo y experiencia de Hyde. Supervisará al equipo de bartenders, cocktail servers, runners y apoyo operativo, garantizando estándares de calidad, presentación, hospitalidad, control de producto y cumplimiento de procesos internos.
Duties & Functions / Funciones principales
- Supervisar la operación diaria del bar, asegurando un servicio eficiente, cálido y alineado con los estándares de Hyde.
- Coordinar al equipo de bartenders, cocktail servers, bussers y runners durante el turno.
- Asegurar que las bebidas se preparen conforme a recetas, presentación, tiempos de servicio y estándares de calidad establecidos.
- Verificar la correcta apertura, operación y cierre del bar.
- Supervisar mise en place, abastecimiento, limpieza, orden y presentación del área de bar.
- Monitorear inventarios, par stocks, mermas, consumos internos y requisiciones de producto.
- Apoyar en el control de costos de bebidas, evitando desperdicios y malas prácticas.
- Asegurar el uso correcto de cristalería, garnish, insumos, herramientas y equipo de bar.
- Dar seguimiento a estándares de higiene, seguridad alimentaria y manejo responsable de alcohol.
- Atender comentarios, quejas o necesidades especiales de huéspedes, buscando siempre una solución inmediata y positiva.
- Promover una experiencia de bar dinámica, social y memorable, conectando con huéspedes y creando momentos especiales.
- Capacitar y retroalimentar al equipo en técnicas de servicio, coctelería, hospitalidad y estándares de marca.
- Verificar la correcta aplicación de procedimientos de cobro, comandas, consumos, cortes y reportes.
- Coordinarse con Cocina, Stewarding, Almacén, Compras y Front of House para asegurar una operación fluida.
- Apoyar en eventos, activaciones, noches temáticas, programación musical o experiencias especiales del hotel.
- Reportar incidencias operativas, necesidades de mantenimiento, faltantes o desviaciones al Bar Manager o F&B Manager.
- Fomentar un ambiente de trabajo colaborativo, respetuoso y con energía positiva.
- Cumplir y hacer cumplir las políticas internas, reglamento, estándares de servicio y lineamientos de seguridad.
La persona deberá contar con los siguientes conocimientos, habilidades y capacidades, y poder explicar y demostrar que puede realizar las funciones esenciales del puesto, con o sin ajustes razonables.
- Preparatoria concluida; deseable carrera técnica, licenciatura en Turismo, Gastronomía, Administración Hotelera o afín.
- Mínimo 1 a 2 años de experiencia en bares, restaurantes, hoteles lifestyle, upscale, fine dining, rooftops, beach clubs o conceptos de alto volumen.
- Experiencia previa supervisando equipos de bar o servicio es altamente deseable.
- Conocimiento sólido en coctelería clásica, coctelería contemporánea, destilados, vinos, cervezas, mixología básica y tendencias de bar.
- Conocimiento de estándares de servicio en alimentos y bebidas.
- Manejo de inventarios, requisiciones, par stocks, mermas y control básico de costos.
- Conocimiento en higiene, manipulación de alimentos y bebidas, seguridad en el servicio y manejo responsable de alcohol.
- Capacidad para liderar equipos durante periodos de alta demanda.
- Habilidad para resolver problemas operativos de manera rápida, profesional y orientada al huésped.
- Excelente actitud de servicio, presencia profesional y habilidades de comunicación.
- Personalidad dinámica, sociable y con facilidad para conectar con huéspedes y equipo.
- Capacidad para trabajar bajo presión, con ritmo operativo alto y enfoque en detalles.
- Disponibilidad para rolar turnos, trabajar fines de semana, días festivos y horarios nocturnos.
- Inglés conversacional deseable; inglés intermedio será considerado una ventaja.
- Manejo básico de sistemas POS, comandas, reportes de venta y herramientas digitales de operación.
- Afinidad con conceptos lifestyle, música, hospitalidad creativa y experiencias sociales de alto impacto.
