Job Description
SO/ Sotogrande, a luxurious resort located in the beautiful Sotogrande, Spain, is seeking a skilled and passionate Spa Therapist to join our wellness team. As a Spa Therapist at SO/ Sotogrande, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional spa experiences to our discerning guests, helping them achieve relaxation, rejuvenation, and overall well-being.
- Perform a variety of spa treatments, including massages, body wraps, facials, and other wellness therapies
- Perform cosmetic treatments
- Customize treatments to meet individual guest needs and preferences
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and welcoming spa environment
- Educate guests on proper skincare routines and recommend appropriate products
- Assist in the reception area, including booking appointments and answering inquiries
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth spa operations and guest satisfaction
- Stay updated on the latest spa trends and techniques to enhance service offerings
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols
- Maintain accurate treatment records and client files
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in massage therapy, beauty therapy, or a related field
- Previous experience as a spa therapist or in a similar role
- Proficiency in various massage techniques and body treatments
- Strong knowledge of skincare and wellness practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to create a calm and relaxing environment for guests
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and empathetic demeanor
- Time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed
- Additional certifications in specific spa treatments (preferred)
- Knowledge of spa and beauty industry trends
- Fluency in English and Spanish, other languages is a plus
- Physical stamina to perform treatments throughout the day
