Spa Therapist

Our adventure camp in the Hatta mountains celebrates the land’s spirit, providing countless ways to play and explore the outdoors. Fifty caravans form a lively community inspired by nomadic exploration, surrounded by hiking and biking trails throughout mountainous terrain that immerse guests in the region’s natural beauty. A central restaurant fueled by local flavors is designed for guests to gather, and a wellness center offers restorative rituals drawing from local tradition. 

As a Spa Therapist at Caravan by Our Habitas Hatta, you will create restorative and meaningful wellness experiences that help guests slow down, reconnect and feel renewed. Through intuitive, personalised treatments and genuine human connection, you will bring the Our Habitas approach to wellbeing to life within the natural surroundings of Hatta.

Working closely with the Wellness and Guest Experience teams, you will deliver treatments to a consistently high standard while creating an environment that feels calm, welcoming and deeply connected to the destination.

This role is ideal for a skilled, intuitive and guest-focused therapist who is passionate about holistic wellbeing and creating experiences that go beyond a traditional spa treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of professional massage, body and wellness treatments in accordance with established treatment protocols and brand standards.

• Conduct thoughtful guest consultations to understand individual needs, preferences and any relevant health considerations before recommending treatments.

• Personalise treatments where appropriate to create meaningful and individualised wellness experiences.

• Create a warm, calm and welcoming environment throughout every stage of the guest journey.

• Maintain excellent knowledge of treatments, wellness experiences, products and their benefits to confidently guide guests.

• Recommend additional treatments, wellness experiences and retail products where relevant to the guest’s needs.

• Prepare treatment rooms before each appointment, ensuring they are immaculate, comfortable and fully stocked.

• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, safety and cleanliness across treatment and wellness areas.

• Ensure all equipment, linens, products and treatment supplies are handled, stored and maintained correctly.

• Maintain accurate guest consultation records, treatment preferences and relevant information while respecting confidentiality.

• Monitor product and treatment-room supplies and communicate replenishment requirements to the appropriate team member.

• Support the smooth scheduling and flow of appointments, working closely with reception and the wider wellness team.

• Respond thoughtfully to guest feedback and requests, taking ownership where possible and escalating concerns appropriately.

• Stay informed about wellness trends, techniques and holistic practices, continuously developing professional knowledge and skills.

• Support wellness activities, retreats, activations and special guest experiences where required.

• Bring the Our Habitas philosophy of connection, wellbeing and conscious living into every guest interaction.

• Professional Certification: Recognised qualification or certification in massage therapy, spa therapy, beauty therapy or a related wellness discipline.

• Therapy Experience: Previous experience as a Spa Therapist within a hotel, resort, luxury spa, wellness retreat or high-quality wellness environment is preferred.

• Treatment Expertise: Confident in delivering a range of massage and body treatments with strong technical knowledge and attention to guest comfort.

• Wellness Mindset: Genuine interest in holistic wellbeing, mindfulness and creating restorative experiences.

• Guest Experience: Warm, intuitive and attentive, with the ability to understand individual guest needs and personalise the experience accordingly.

• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a calm, professional and engaging approach.

• Commercial Awareness: Comfortable recommending relevant treatments, experiences and products in a natural and guest-focused way.

• Hygiene & Safety: Strong understanding of spa hygiene, sanitation and safe treatment practices.

• Flexibility: Comfortable working shifts, weekends and public holidays according to operational requirements.

• Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
