Job Description
Under the general guidance of the Director of Rooms, the Spa Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the coordination of activities in the treatment rooms and spa facilities
They will also ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, service, and guest satisfaction. This role coordinates external providers, cleaners and spa reservations while ensuring seamless guest experiences, operational efficiency, and strict adherence to brand standards. The Spa Supervisor plays a key role in guest relations, inventory control, and the overall wellness environment of the spa, with a focus on luxury service and operational excellence.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate daily with the Director of Rooms, provide activity updates and monthly reports
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of spa, equipment, and guest areas
- Coordinate with housekeeping and engineering for repairs and cleanliness
- Oversee changing room upkeep; ensure spa opens/closes on schedule
- Monitor therapist performance and guest feedback
- With the Director of Rooms, optimizes spa coverage
- Handle guest services: greet guests, assist with services and retail, resolve issues, and maintain high satisfaction
- Oversee purchase orders and storage maintenance
- Manage daily Book4time revenue reporting
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a supervisory role within a spa or wellness environment preferably in an upscale or luxury lifestyle brand hotel
- Proficient in spa management software and general computer applications
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle daily spa operations smoothly
- Exceptional customer service skills with a guest-focused mindset
- Flexible availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and facility maintenance
- Knowledge of spa treatments, products, and industry trends
- Professional demeanor with a polished appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and vendors
