Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales & Stock

  • Ensure all shops’ sales operation is properly carried out.
  • Ensure that the inventory control system is adhered to and maintained.
  • Monitor stock situation and take necessary corrective actions.
  • Monitor and review the effectiveness of the shop's presentation.
  • Investigate all stock discrepancies.

Customer Service

  • Ensure all guests are well attended to.
  • Handle all guests related issues factually.
  • Analyze guests’ feedback/complaints and suggestions to prevent reoccurrence or make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure that our image and standard of service is consistently abided by.

Staff

  • Orientated new staff and develop and implement training programs to upgrade the staff.
  • Handle all staff issues- e.g duty rosters annual leaves guidelines etc.
  • Train staff in sales techniques product knowledge and customer service.
  • Supervise and motivate staff to maximize sales and to promote personal growth.
  • Counsel and discipline staff when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Thorough understanding of stores procedures and policies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to keep accurate records.
