Are you a dynamic sales professional with a passion for the hospitality industry? Do you have a proven track record in driving revenue across Corporate, MICE, and Inbound segments? You will work closely with the Hotel General Manager and be supported by a wider Portfolio Sales Team, collaborating on strategic initiatives that drive business growth and elevate our market position.
What your work day will look like:
- Develop successful business acquisition strategies for meetings, social events, corporate accommodation and Inbound business
- Provide quotations for meetings and events proposals covering venue, function, menu and accommodation costs ensuring revenue is maximized.
- Maintenance of conference & corporate database of key contacts/clients.
- Actively develop customer relationships and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through fostering strong relationships
- Complete organisation of all major conference activity / events from confirmation to post-event follow-up in order to ensure client satisfaction
- Pro-actively manage a small account base with the target to drive new business from these accounts
- Experience utilising multiple mediums to communicate and build relationships with clients
- Confidence with selling accommodation, event and outlet spaces within the Hotel
- A hunger to convert business, a professional who is driven by results
- Strong focus and passion for hotel operations, hospitality & travel
- Great interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of colleagues, customers and clients and across a broad range of mediums
