Reservations Team Leader

Company Description

Work your Way to Sydney! We are seeking a motivated, energetic and guest-focused Reservations Team Leader on a fulltime capacity to join our Portfolio team. Reporting directly to the Portfolio Reservations Manager, you will assist in centrally managing the Reservations for a Portfolio of 4 key Accor properties across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.


Job Description

  • Ensuring a high level of guest service at all times across all interaction points
  • Monitoring your team of Agents and providing mentorship and guidance 
  • Dealing with more complex queries and escalation from Agents
  • Assisting to control all bookings across the 4 properties
  • Ensuring a high booking conversion rate and that targets are met
  • Utilising sales techniques to meet quotas and hit upselling goals
  • Assist the Reservations Manager in establishing best practices for the Department

Qualifications

  • You have experience and proven success in a similar environment and are ready to take on a new challenge
  • You have exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • You love finding the YES for our guests
  • You are driven, self-motivated and like working in a team environment
  • You have full working rights in Australia
  • Experience in a Hotel environment and with OPERA Cloud will be highly advantageous but not essential
