Job Description

Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: St Andrews, Fife

Contract: Permanent, Full-time 

As Sales Manager you will be responsible for the MICE market, within a designated territory, to stimulate business into Fairmont St Andrews and contribute to achieve the hotels budgeted group rooms and banqueting revenues. Managing the sales process for the Group Sales department including developing and managing the Group Sales Coordinator and Executive.

A little bit about what you will be doing:

  • To research, penetrate and develop new accounts
  • Key account management of existing clients to ensure maximum revenue is secured for Fairmont St Andrews
  • Identifying strategies to develop the assigned market and execute territory and account plans
  • Identifying potential dip markets and ensuring strategies in place to create demand
  • Management of Opera Sales & Catering ensuring all information is correct, updated and all bookings, enquiries and activities are logged to maintain a comprehensive account management system
  • Manage, nurture and develop Group Sales Coordinators / Executives to ensure communication from the lead to enquiry phase is accurate

 


Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable of Resort products and services; IT systems including Opera Sales & Catering, Microsoft packages
  • 2-3 years experience in a similar role
  • Eligible to work in the UK
