Job Description
Join the team at Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort as a Casual Room Attendant and play an important role in creating the relaxing, comfortable experience our guests love.
Our Housekeeping team is at the heart of the guest journey, ensuring every room is fresh, welcoming and beautifully presented. In this role, you’ll take pride in preparing guestrooms to a high standard, helping guests feel instantly at home from the moment they arrive.
Working in a supportive and friendly team environment, you’ll enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done while contributing to memorable stays for travellers from around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms, corridors and housekeeping areas to high standards
- Ensure rooms are beautifully presented, comfortable and ready for guest arrival
- Replenish linen, amenities and in-room supplies
- Report and manage lost property in line with hotel procedures
- Work closely with the housekeeping team to maintain consistent service standards
Qualifications
We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable team members who take pride in their work and enjoy contributing to a positive team environment.
What we’re looking for:
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Physical capability to perform cleaning duties throughout the shift
- Flexibility and availability to work a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
