Job Description
We are looking for a Part Time Laundry Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. In this role, you’ll ensure every piece of linen and staff uniform is impeccably cared for, helping create the clean, welcoming environment that makes every guest stay memorable. You’ll take pride in keeping the resort running smoothly behind the scenes, knowing your work makes a real difference to the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, iron, fold and distribute linen, staff uniforms and laundry items
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently according to hotel procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of laundry and storage areas
- Inspect linen and uniforms to ensure they meet brand quality standards
- Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to ensure a smooth and efficient laundry operation
- Take initiative to identify and resolve issues to maintain consistent quality and timely service
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and genuine commitment to excellent guest experiences
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Physical capability to handle laundry tasks throughout the shift
- Flexibility and availability to work a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is advantageous but not essential
