Job Description

As a Reservations Agent, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for handling reservations and inquiries efficiently, ensuring a seamless booking process. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing guest bookings, changes, and cancellations with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Responding promptly and courteously to guest inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Providing detailed information on room types, rates, packages, and amenities to assist guests in selecting their ideal stay.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, promotions, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Ensuring special requests and preferences are noted and communicated effectively to relevant departments.
  • Collaborating with the front office and sales team to maximise occupancy and revenue.
  • Delivering exceptional guest service and resolving booking-related issues promptly and effectively.

You will demonstrate a guest-centric approach with a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.


Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a reservations or customer service role within the hospitality industry, along with:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work Tuesday-Saturday.
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and familiarity with reservations software is an advantage.
  • A positive and professional demeanour, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
