We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Reservations Agent to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar.
As a key member of our hospitality organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction by managing reservations efficiently and providing exceptional service.
- Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online booking platforms
- Provide detailed information about room types, rates, availability, and hotel amenities to potential guests
- Process reservations accurately and efficiently using our Resa-web.
- Collaborate closely with sales, revenue management, and front desk teams to optimize occupancy rates and maximize accommodation sales
- Maintain up-to-date information on various distribution channels and booking platforms
- Generate and analyze weekly reports to track reservation trends and performance metrics
- Assist in managing group bookings and special requests
- Ensure all reservation-related invoicing processes are complete and accurate
- Stay informed about hotel promotions, local events, and attractions to provide comprehensive information to guests
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and reservation software
- Strong knowledge of reservation procedures and hospitality industry standards
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Outstanding customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for reporting purposes
- Familiarity with online travel agencies (OTAs) and global distribution systems (GDS) is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
