Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Reservation Executive to join our team in Chennai, India. As a Reservation Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing room reservations, maximizing revenue, and ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.

  • Plan and coordinate room reservations to optimize occupancy and revenue
  • Implement effective selling techniques and strategies to maximize room sales
  • Prepare accurate forecasts, reports, and statistics on a timely basis
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
  • Maintain and update the corporate database with guest information and booking details
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
  • Train and supervise reservation associates, delegating tasks as needed
  • Ensure adherence to company policies regarding discounts and corporate rates
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to adjust reservation strategies
  • Assist in developing occupancy forecasts for annual budgets
  • Handle VIP reservations and special requests with utmost care and attention

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Tourism or Hospitality Management
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge of reservation systems and hotel management software
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
