Job Description

With over 3,000 employees, staff housing, and high recruitment needs due to seasonal operations and commitment to training young hospitality professionals, our resorts are focused on Talent Acquisition excellence both in strategic planning and operational execution. 

The Talent Brand Manager for Fairmont’s Canadian Western Mountain Region will create, implement and execute a talent marketing strategy which positions our resorts as the world’s top employer for hospitality professionals. This role will leverage digital and traditional marketing, and public relations strategies to promote our regional Employee Value Proposition to top talent in the hospitality space. 

This position will be working from Fairmont Banff Springs, with travel expected, and flexible work from home options will be available. 

Competitive Salary: $71,700 - $86,000 gross annually, based on previous experience & education

Job Duties Include:

Reporting to the Director, Regional Talent Acquisition, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:      

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to position the resorts as top employers in the hospitality industry, leveraging platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, SEM, and traditional media.

  • Create engaging content, including videos, blogs, ads, and social media posts, while managing recruitment websites (WIX, WordPress, Squarespace) with a focus on SEO and maintaining an organic social media presence.

  • Analyze performance metrics from social media, agencies, websites, and applicant tracking systems to optimize campaigns, track trends, and present findings to stakeholders.

  • Partner with agency teams, develop relationships with online partners, and coach hotel recruiters on employer branding trends, digital tactics, and effective marketing strategies.

  • Assist Talent Acquisition teams with campus marketing collateral, recruitment events, and award submissions, while exploring new technologies and sourcing areas to enhance the employer brand.


Qualifications

Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years’ experience in a Talent Brand, Recruitment Marketing or Digital Marketing position 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or Business related field an asset 

  • Relevant experience in the hotel industry is an asset 

  • Google Analytics Certification required 

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, including social media, SEM/SEO, display advertising, CMS platforms and analytics  

  • Experience managing a marketing budget 

  • Experience working with digital agencies 

  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro) 

  • Basic photography, videography and post-production editing skillset 

  • Ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups and collaborate across business functions 

  • Motivated, creative self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills 

  • Travel as required within the region
