Job Description

This role is perfect for business minded individuals who want an accelerated career pathway to becoming a Hotel General Manager.

In this role, you will support the Front Office Manager to supervise our Front Office team overnight.  You will be responsible for the hotel, New Zealand's largest Accor property, in the absence of the management team.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Conducting both full Reception and Night Audit duties.
  • Processing of guest account transactions
  • Responding quickly to all guest concerns and following up with relevant departments.
  • Leading a Night team to display the Pullman Auckland brand essentials at all times
  • Management of the security and safety of both hotel guests and employee

Qualifications

You will bring with you:

  • Previous front office experience at supervisory level
  • A full NZ driver’s license
  • A current GM Certificate or able to obtain essential (to obtain candidates must have an LCQ certificate & 3 months supervisory experience at a licensed premises in NZ)
  • Knowledge of Opera is advantageous
  • Immaculate personal presentation and high level of communication  - both written and verbal
  • Leadership capability.
